“To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.”
— Colossians 1:27-28 (NKJV)
We believe
In the inspiration, authority, and sufficiency of the Bible.
In the absolute sovereignty of the one, living, true, perfect, eternal and Triune God.
In the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His death on our behalf, and His physical resurrection from the grave.
That Christ ascended into heaven where He is now exalted at the right hand of God the Father as our Great High Priest.
In the personal and imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
That all mankind became alienated from God by the sin of Adam. The natural man is totally depraved, abiding under the wrath of God, unable to remedy his lost condition, and in need of regeneration.
That Jesus Christ, who was completely without sin, was able to make a full substitutionary sacrifice for our sins and is God’s only provision for the remission of our sins.
That salvation is freely offered to all who will believe and accept it.
That salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone.
That the Holy Spirit regenerates and instantly baptizes all believers into the body of Christ. He indwells, sanctifies, instructs, and empowers all believers for service, and seals them unto the day of redemption.
In the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust. The redeemed are raised to everlasting life and eternal joy, while the wicked suffer eternal damnation.
That Christians have the solemn obligation to conduct themselves in a manner worthy of the gospel.
In the sanctity of human life. We further believe that human life begins at the moment of conception and at this time God stamps His image and likeness into every human, making him/her an eternal, spiritual being. Because by design the first nine months of life must be lived inside the womb does not mean that man has the right to destroy that life, any more than he has the right to destroy a life once outside the womb for similar reasons.
In the sanctity of marriage, which is between only one man and one woman, as ordained by God. Husband and wife are joined together for life, as covenanted before God, and only by the death of one is the other at liberty to remarry. The remarriage of divorced men or women, or same-sex marriages will not be performed at, or by the leaders of, Calvary Bible Fellowship.
